Black Watch Tartan Celtic Cross Brooch
A beautifully handcrafted tartan brooch pin, handmade and ready to wear, designed to celebrate the enduring tradition of Scottish heritage.
Created with a hand-sewn ruffle of wide 40 mm Black Watch tartan ribbon, this distinctive piece features softly shaped ribbon trails for movement and presence.
It is finished with an antique silver-tone Celtic Cross pendant charm, centred with a haematite stone, adding depth, symbolism, and traditional character.
This versatile brooch can be styled on coats, hats, scarves, shawls, or incorporated into wedding attire, historical costume, or ceremonial dress, making it a meaningful accessory or a thoughtful heritage-inspired gift.
A round felt backing provides comfort and structure, and the brooch is secured with a nickel-plated roll-bar pin with ball swivel closure.
The mechanism may feel firm at first; simply roll fully in each direction to operate smoothly.

Black Watch is one of the most recognised and enduring tartans in the world, long regarded as a symbol of bravery, loyalty, and tradition.
Also known as Grant Hunting or Government tartan, it was first worn by the six “watch” companies formed in 1725 under the authority of King George I, following the Jacobite rebellion of 1715.
Today, it remains worn by members of the British Royal Family, Highland athletes, and those who value its historic significance.
