My name is Penni Wallace, and I am based in a small village in Somerset, near to the fabulous heritage City of Bath, where I was born & raised.
The home of Jane Austen and where some of the fabulous Bridgerton was filmed too!
I am a qualified florist, with credits and a distinction with City & Guilds and many years experience of working in the flower and wedding trade.
Indigo Daisy Weddings was started by myself in 2005, after the fresh flower shop I worked at in Bath closed down.
I turned my hand from floristry to hat making!
The mail order business has steadily grown over the years and I can now offer a full range of fascinators and hats to suit any age and style.
I like my designs to complement the current seasons, trends and colours, whilst focusing on a elegant and chic theme but also pretty and eye catching and like to make items that will make people happy and feel confident wearing.
My designs over the years have been worn at the King's Coronation, Buckingham Palace Garden Parties and Honours Ceremonies, Windsor Castle, Henley Regatta, Royal Ascot, Goodwood Revival and the Kentucky Derby.
My influences are elegant vintage 1950's,1940's fashion as well as art deco, Gatsby 1920's style and Regency.
I have built up a core range of designs which are available in many colours, easy to wear, flattering and eye catching and can tailor and advise on each one for your individual hair type and style, outfit and occasion at competitive affordable prices.
With individual sections for my Gothic Diva designs range and Steampunkerella, Steampunk inspired designs.
I also have a speciality in Tartan designs, with my tartan ruffle brooches being my bestseller, as well as hair accessories and wristlets.
Also being added to the site - Bridal veils, wristlets, hair flowers, feather headpieces, flapper bands, fans, bouquets and headbands.
All my items are handmade, by myself, the sinamay mini and formal hats are each individually handsewn.
As I am a trained florist, I can also create beautiful artificial bouquets, feather fans, buttonholes, wrist corsages and all your other wedding floral needs.
