Prussian Navy Blue Austen Regency Headpiece
Add a touch of dramatic Regency elegance with this beautiful Prussian Blue (navy) feathered hair clip, inspired by the romantic fashions and elaborate plume headwear of Jane Austen's era.
The Austen is a smaller version of the statement Regency headpiece, designed to sit high on the head for an elegant yet dramatic silhouette.
Its deep blue colour makes it particularly striking for Regency balls, evening events, the Jane Austen Festival in Bath, historical occasions, afternoon teas, weddings and period-inspired outfits.
This Prussian Blue version features three small, lighter navy blue ostrich feathers, layered with soft navy fluff feathers.
A delicate navy lace ruffle and lighter navy tulle add texture and movement, while an antique silver filigree cabochon provides an elegant focal point, finished with a matte deep blue crystal gem.
The headpiece is mounted onto an oval navy felt base with a 56 mm metal crocodile clip, positioned facing downwards and neatly covered with felt.
It can be securely clipped into an updo or gathered hairstyle.
For the classic Regency silhouette, wear it high on the side or towards the back of the head, allowing the feathers to create an elegant plume effect.
