MacDonald Tartan Ruffle Brooch

MacDonald Clan Ancient Heavyweight Tartan is a vibrant green and blue-based tartan with red overchecks.

This tartan descended from Donald, grandson of Somerled of the Isles, and is the oldest and more famous of all Scottish Clans.

The Lords of the Isles held sway over large territories and ruled as independent princes.

Made with a small circle of navy felt with a small brooch pin attached and a handmade and sewn ruffle of MacDonald tartan ribbon with wide ribbon shaped trails and finished with a choice of an antiqued red crystal cabochon, silver or brass Celtic button, bronze Celtic knot button with a choice of dark green pearl, emerald or royal blue crystal, dark blue pearls and green pearl or cluster of dark moss green glass pearls and a navy crystal.

Size approx- 6 cm wide x 10 cm long
