This cute little Black Watch tartan brooch pin is made to order and will take a few days, plus delivery time.
It is great for a touch of tartan to an outfit or hat or onto a wedding dress or costume, or simply as a gift.
Made with a small circle of felt with a small brooch pin attached and a handmade and sewn ruffle of Black Watch tartan ribbon with wide ribbon shaped trails and finished with a large antique silver Celtic knot button with a dark green pearl stud.
Size approx- 6 cm wide x 10 cm long
Brooch Pin - Nickel plated brooch back, with a swivel mechanism to securely close the pin.

Black Watch Tartan- History
Black Watch is one of the most famous‚ and popular‚ tartans ever‚ recognized the world over.
The Black Watch tartan is a universal symbol of bravery and tradition.
It is worn by the British Royal family (male and female), Highland athletes, and everyone in between.
Alternatively known as Grant Hunting or Government tartan, Black Watch tartan was worn first by the six “watch” companies that once patrolled the Highlands.
General George Wade, with authorisation from George I, formed these six companies in 1725 following the Jacobite rebellion of 1715.
