Irish National Tartan Ruffle Brooch
The Irish national tartan was introduced during the rise of Irish nationalism, and has since been treated as a symbol of Gaelic tradition, in response to the ongoing anglicisation of Ireland.
This is a new addition to my tartan accessories range.
This cute little tartan brooch pin is made to order and will take a few days, plus delivery time.
It is great for a touch of tartan to an outfit or hat or onto a wedding dress or costume, or simply as a gift.
Made with a small circle of dark green felt with a small brooch pin attached and a handmade and sewn ruffle of Irish National tartan ribbon with wide ribbon shaped trails and finished with a choice of a cluster of green or black pearls, pearl and diamante stud or a Bronze Celtic Knot button with a bottle green pearl, emerald or black crystal stud in the centre.
Size approx- 6 cm wide x 10 cm long
