Ivory Austen Regency Headpiece

A beautiful ivory Regency-inspired feather hair clip headpiece, created in the elegant style of the elaborate feathered hair ornaments worn during the Regency period.

The Austen is designed to sit high on the side or back of the head, creating a wonderfully dramatic Regency silhouette.

Soft, floaty pale ivory ostrich feathers are layered with delicate fluff feathers, an ivory tulle ruffle and a gathered ivory satin ribbon ruffle.

The headpiece is finished with a pretty cluster of ivory glass pearls, together with narrow satin and organza ribbon loops and trailing ribbons, adding movement and a romantic vintage feel.

Mounted onto ivory felt, the 56mm metal crocodile clip faces downwards and is covered with ivory felt for a neat finish. This allows the headpiece to be securely clipped into an updo or other suitable hairstyle.

The Austen is particularly effective worn high on the side or towards the back of the head for a full Regency-inspired look.

It would make a beautiful accessory for a Regency event, historical costume, Jane Austen celebration, period-inspired wedding, ball or Bridgerton-inspired outfit.
