The Austen is a dramatic, vintage-inspired Regency headpiece designed to sit high on the head, creating that wonderfully theatrical silhouette associated with early 19th-century fashion.

This pale blue version combines two sweeping pale sky blue ostrich feathers with soft pale blue fluff feathers, creating plenty of height and movement. The feathers are layered with a delicate pale blue lace ruffle and satin ribbon ruffle, then finished with a charming cluster of pale blue pearls.
The headpiece is mounted onto an oval pale blue felt base with a 56 mm metal crocodile clip, positioned facing downwards and covered neatly with felt.
This allows the headpiece to be securely clipped into an updo or gathered hairstyle.
For the most dramatic Regency look, wear it high on the side or towards the back of the head, allowing the feathers to create a beautiful plume-like silhouette.
