Wallace Red Modern Tartan Brooch

This is a new addition to my tartan accessories range, and a personal one for me as its my Clan tartan.
This cute little tartan brooch pin is ready made and can be posted straight away.
It is great for a touch of tartan to an outfit or hat or onto a wedding dress or costume, or simply as a gift.

Created with a handmade and sewn ruffle of rare Wallace Red Modern tartan ribbon, this ribbon is a little narrower so the ruffles are not as big as the other tartans I have, with wide ribbon shaped trails and finished with a cluster of black crystals and dark red pearl.

Finished with a small circle of red felt with a small roll bar brooch pin attached.

Size approx- 6 cm wide x 11 cm long

Wallace Tartan History
The Clan Wallace, whose most famous member is William Wallace, is a Scottish clan with a rich history, including connections to the Wallace family of Craigie and the historic Craigie Castle.
While William Wallace himself didn't have a specific tartan, the Clan Wallace adopted various tartans over time as part of their clan identity, including the modern and ancient variations
The Wallace tartan, most commonly seen in its "Modern" or "Red" version, is a vibrant scarlet, black, and yellow tartan that dates back to 1842.
It's one of several tartans associated with the Clan Wallace, which also includes Ancient and Hunting variations with more muted colours.
