**IMPORTANT - UNITED STATES BUYERS**
As of 8th August I will sadly have to temporarily switch off shipping in my Etsy stores, Folksy & Ebay to the USA on all items, due to the de minimis exemption on all packages entering the USA from the rest of the world being withdrawn by your government from 29th August and tariffs being imposed on every item.
At present we have no idea how this will play out, so to avoid very high charges and parcel returns, we are temporarily suspending all shipping to the USA, until proper measures and tariff collecting processes are put in place by Etsy and Royal Mail.
It is another unexpected hammer blow to UK micro businesses and especially so as I have been shipping to the USA for 20 years now and I know my customers love their English hats and fascinators and more recently the tartan accessories.
Hopefully fingers crossed this is temporary whilst the infrastructure is put in place, in theory at a guess eventually it should mean 10% tariff on all goods, as that is the UK's current tariff figure...
Anyone in the USA that is attending a wedding or event in the UK, I can ship to your hotel or accommodation, this is something I can offer and seems to have worked well in the past .
I would like to thank all my lovely American customers and please bear with us, and hope this can be resolved swiftly.
